Chemical Relations

This artistic research ask the questions: How can we live with our chemically altered bodies?

Participants are guided through a series of sound and movement opportunities that probe our embodied interactions and responses to industrial chemicals. Participants are invited to extend their senses, work with the knowledge of the body and use materials as prompts for movement and sound making. The theme of chemical contamination is
transferred across mental, verbal and physical modalities, that help to build new understandings of inescapable toxicities.

The final group output is the collective creation a ritual bringing together the ideas, intentions and actions of the day into a short cohesive performance.
